Rhea had a great doctor's appointment on Wednesday. She had gained 5 ounces since leaving the hospital and her doctor was very impressed with her progress. So, she gave us the OK for her to go back to daycare and for me to go back to work. Even though I'm a little sad, it's so exciting that she is doing well enough for us to get back to our usual routine.
We are keeping her on a mix of special formula (Nutramingen) that is easier on her stomach, as well as her usual formula for at least the next 2 weeks and are once again going to try introducing solids. This time, we are just trying rice cereal and fruit. Yesterday after the doctor's, Rhea had some cereal and bananas and loved them both! She also ate all of the formula we offered her and had the best night of sleep in a while. Hopefully, now that her belly is filling up, we will get back on track with the sleeping!
We go back to the doctor's next Thursday for a follow up appointment.
