You Know It's Almost Easter Part 1

You know it's almost Easter when you get your first Easter basket! Yep, one whole week before Easter, Nana and Papa delivered Rhea's Easter basket. At first when she saw it, she just kind of looked at, like she was unsure if she should even touch it. After a little prodding, she happily took the wrap off and started pulling out her goodies. So, what did she get?

She got a bunch of new Sesame Street books, which she took out one-by-one and brought them over for me to see. As soon as she would show it to me, I would say you have more and she would run back to the basket saying, "more, more, more." To say she loves the books would be an understatement. She is so into Sesame Street right now and she knows most of the characters so as soon she picks up a book, she says "Cookie" or "Emo" or "Yucky (Oscar). These have been a nice addition to our nighttime reading the last couple of nights.

She got a new outfit, which she can wear if it ever really warms up around here.

She got a bucket, pail and some plastic eggs. She likes to put the eggs in and out of the pail. This morning we put a block in each egg and then shook it to hear the sound it made before putting them in and out of the bucket (hey, I have to find a way to make the activity interesting for me too).
