Lots of Visiting

On my first day off this week, I decided to head out and visit with some family. So, Rhea and I hit the road right after her morning snack and headed west. Our first stop was Jenn and Chris' house for a playdate with Arwen. The two girls were cute together, although they ignored each other more than they played with each other. Rhea moved all around checking out her surroundings and Arwen's toys. Her favorite was a Red Sox ball. At one point Jenn went and got the bat that went with the ball and we joked that one could throw it while the other one bats. (Maybe in a few years).

At one point we did put both girls in a chair together so we could get some pictures of the two of them (an order from Auntie Jodi). We also put them in the pack-n-play together and they played fine with each other. We spent a couple of hours there and it was nice for the little cousins to get to play and the big cousins to catch up on things.

After we left Jenn and Chris', we went to Memere's work for a visit and a snack. Then, it was off to Grandpa M's work...Grandpa works at Milton Bradley, so this was a really fun place to visit. Rhea not only got lots of attention, she left with a new Dora the Explorer puzzle and a new Cookie Monster doll, which she absolutely loves! We then went to Grandma M's work for a quick visit and then to Pepere's house to see him. Lots of visiting...a nice and rare treat for a Wednesday!

I love where we live and know we have a great home for Rhea, but being out where I grew up yesterday made me miss it...I really wish we lived closer to my parents sometimes so we could see them more often and with less planning. But, since that isn't going to happen anytime soon, we'll just treasure the time we do have with them and the rare Wednesday visits we had yetserday. Can't wait to see you all again soon!
