Otion

It's funny how you don't even realize the things that kids pick up on. Part of my daily routine is to put on lotion. Rhea has watched me do this several times and never seemed to pay much attention. But, then the other day, she grabbed my lotion bottle and handed it to me and said "otion" - the l is missing right now. I pretended to put some on her hands, but that was not good enough! Apparently, she has watched me enough to know the difference and she wanted to put lotion on for real! So, we grabbed some J&J baby lotion and to my surprise when I put a little in her hand, she right away started rubbing it on her legs!

This one-time lotion experience has now turned into part of our daily routine. She now wants to put lotion on every time she gets dressed! This kid is going to have the best skin ever!
